About us
Academic Edge offers specialist tutoring in maths, reading, spelling and writing for school students of any age and ability. Our tutors are all New Zealand-registered teachers and are fully conversant with the New Zealand School Curriculm in their specialist areas.
We use proven methodolgy and materials and with input from parents and school and with our own testing we can tailor the most effective programme to meet your child’s specific needs.
Academic Edge is owned and operated by Carolyn and Russell Copland who have been teaching and tutoring for numerous years between them. We have tutored literally hundreds of children and we have literally hundreds of success stories.
We provide a calm, safe and healthy environment to enhance your child’s learning experience and to provide you with peace-of-mind. Your child is chaperoned at all times. You are very welcome to come and visit our premises and see for yourself the environment and the way we work.
