Writing tutor services
Give your child the help they need to communicate their ideas effectively.
Our writing tutoring services will work with your child's level, ability, and needs to achieve their unique goals and meet or surpass the compulsory National Standards set by the Government in 2010.
As we also adhere to the Literacy Learning Progressions as designed by the Ministry of Education, we can meet the demands of the Curriculum and also clearly indicate to you, the level your child is at.
As professional writing tutors we can help your child express their ideas better, and get more out of their education.

Our writing tutors will assess your child's writing based on the NZ Curriculum Framework and National Standards and create a personalised programme
By assessing your child's writing abilities using the Literacy Learning Indicators from The English Matrices (from The New Zealand Curriculum Framework), our writing tutors will develop a personalised writing programme for your child.
It will be based on their current ability and level, as well a their unique needs and goals for optimum success and enjoyment.
Help your child with spelling, grammar, layout, punctuation, structure, content, and language
During your child's writing tutoring, we will teach them the surface features of good writing such as spelling, punctuation, grammar, and layout. We will also cover the deeper features such as audience purpose, content/ideas, structure/organisation, and language.
Our writing tutors take this approach to ensure that your child gets a comprehensive knowledge of writing, including how to both effectively and properly communicate in writing.
